County Honor Roll List 2

Published October 12, 1922 Batavia Daily News (p9 c2-3) – 52 NAMES

This 1922 list was based on, and published shortly after the release of, the State of New York’s 402-page Roll of Honor: Citizens of the State of New York Who Died While in the Service of the United States During the World War. The Daily’s list was subheaded, “List of Fifty-Five who Lost Their Lives During the World Conflict,” but only 52 names were actually listed in the article.

The statewide Roll of Honor book contained 53 names for Genesee County, including one name in an addendum; that list is also shown below.
